Summer Fun

Just stopping by to say hi to all my friends in blogland!! We are having a fantastic summer. Needless to say we are staying very busy, so busy in fact that I've neglected my blog terribly. I hope to be back in more of a routine soon and post more. For now, we are having such fun without any routines! Wishing you a great end of summer!
Today I am reading:

Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable.

Fresh Veggies

Oh my, I love fresh veggies. Squash, cucumbers, and green beans are being picked daily!!
I only grow enough to enjoy for the present. We stay too busy to keep up with a big garden, enough to do canning or freezing for winter months. Maybe someday when me darlings are older and I'm not busy with all those summer fun daze!

Motherhood

One of the most valued books I have is well worn and a little stained. I've loaned it many times over to homeschool mothers who are interested in more than just giving their children an academic education. Homeschooling is a way of life!
Educating the Wholehearted Child,
by Clay and Sally Clarkson is the title of this treasured book.
Today I came across Sally's Blog, I Take Joy, and was so blessed by all the precious memories and encouragement that comes from her heart as she shares with other mothers along the journey of motherhood. She has written many wonderful books to help guide women through the many seasons of our lives.

Just a few days ago I also added Like a Warm Cup of Coffee to my sidebar. It was here that I found Sally's blog. Take the time to check out both of these blogs, you will be blessed.

Have a Great Day!
