 Seasons of Life

Praising God for this beautiful Sunday morning!
There have been so many changes over the past few months and since I last blogged. I love to visit each of my blog friends from time to time but life has been so busy that there was no time to blog myself.
I started blogging because of my love for quilting but during this season of my life there isn't time for sewing. I try to enjoy each day and not look back but look forward to all God has in store for us on this journey ahead.

  "Wedding Day"

Going back to work after being a stay-at-home mom for many years has been a huge change in our lives and God has been there for our family through all the changes. We celebrated our oldest daughter's wedding to a wonderful man in June, our youngest daughter graduated and started college, and my father has had several health issues, the worse being dementia.

God is so good as we celebrate happy occasions and cry over the sad times.
Helping care for my dad has been a very stressful and burdensome time but we trust the Lord DAILY for his strength, provision, and peace we find when we give all our cares to Him during this season of life.

We are learning daily how to cope with this dreadful disease and how to care for our dad. I would love to hear from others who may be going through this situation or who has experienced caring for someone with dementia.

"GOD BLESS YOU"
